The Spectacular Holiday Show
One of the most anticipated events at American Music Theatre is their annual holiday show. This year’s original production Deck the Halls takes place at the St. Nicholas Hotel where we find our dashing dancers and merry musicians ready to “Deck the Halls!. Bubbly bellhops and glittery guests make merriment in preparation for a visit from Old Saint Nick. This show evokes the revered holiday nostalgia, with a heartwarming story, light comedy, dazzling costumes, and breathtaking choreography. It’s a festive treat, making it the perfect way to celebrate the holiday season with family and friends.
Deck the Halls is a true holiday extravaganza. The show features a blend of traditional carols and contemporary holiday music, all performed by a talented cast of singers, dancers, and musicians. You’ll be transported into a world of festive cheer, where the true meaning of Christmas shines through in every performance. The Christmas show typically runs 2 hours and includes a 15 minute intermission.
Ticket prices vary by location and there are youth tickets (ages 3-17) available. Children 2 and under are free, if they will be seated on an adult’s lap.
Theater Seating

American Music Theatre is a small enough that no seat is bad. There are 1,600 seats in the theater. All seats have a great view of the stage area. ADA compliant seats located on either side of the Orchestra and Mezzanine sections. There is an elevator for those that need it to reach the balcony. Different areas do have different pricing so there often is something for everyone’s price point.
Tickets are available for purchase online, over the phone or at the box office. Box office hours tend to be Monday to Friday 9 am to 6pm and Saturday 9 am to 5pm (see website for exact hours). Please note that concert tickets are final sale and non-refundable. Christmas Show tickets maybe exchange for another time or day for a fee.
AMT offers all parking, free of charge. However, they do recommend arriving 35-45 minutes early for sold-out shows. In some cases, parking across the street at the retail shops may be required.

Where to Eat When Seeing at Show American Music
There are many great options by American Music so you can plan your post-show or pre-show dining. Our top two recommendations for dining are within 5-10 minutes and take reservations (plus they are locally owned and operated):
Miller’s Smorgasbord – the oldest smorgasbord in Lancaster County featuring American Classics and Lancaster County Heritage dishes. If you are a larger party or have some picky eaters, Miller’s is the perfect Sight & Sound dining option.
Smokehouse BBQ and Brews – offer a wide selection of premised smoked meats, salads and sandwiches. Plus, it is right next to AmishView Inn.
Additional local options that are close by are Greenfield Restaurant, Agape, and Bespoke Brewing. But they don’t all take reservations and it can get busy before and after showtimes.
American Music Theatre does have a concessions with light snacks and non-alcoholic beverages as well as gift shop that opens an hour prior to the show. It is best to plan to eat before or after the show. Celebrity shows do vary in length from 75 minutes to over 2 hours so please keep that in mind when booking your meals.
